By the time you read this, January has passed and we are closer to Valentine’s Day than New Year’s Day! If you have read any news lately, you are aware of the fire calamity we suffered in the Los Angeles area throughout much of January, and at one point, my family and I were put on notice to be prepared to evacuate with only a few minutes warning. I am happy to report that We had to leave briefly and there were several scary days where it became a very real possibility that our entire neighborhood would be engulfed in the flames of the Kenneth Fire. My prayers go out to those who were not as fortunate as my family. It is appropriate that you’re getting this in early February, because Valentine’s Day is one of my absolutely favorite days of the year! Not only am I blessed with my dear husband David as my Valentine for more than 40 years and a lovely family, but I am humbled and blessed by the outpouring of love and joy I receive throughout the year from my fans and fellow actors and authors. Believe me – the feeling is mutual, and I never take it for granted!
